I wanted to share this sneak preview of the new video slide show that Yuri Artibise and I put together to showcase my favorite Mid Century Modern Remodel. It has great photos of the kitchen improvements and new open floor plan. If you are planing to expand your kitchen floor plan to create a more open space to live and entertain you will enjoy this video.

Yuri and I got to know each other during the remodel we did on his kitchen. We did a mid century modern style kitchen remodel in his mid century ranch style home complete with IKEA cabinetry.

As an expert in the subject, he has been mentoring me in social networking including showcasing my remodeling projects with video.

If you live in Phoenix or it's surrounding communities of Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, Ahwatukee, Mesa, Gilbert Glendale, or Mesa contact me for help on your remodel at steve@homeworkremodels.com or 602-478-5102.

One of the most frustrating things about professional bathroom remodeling is that it is so hard to take good photos of bathrooms after they have been remodeled. This is especially true of the average small bathroom.

There isn't much that can be done about taking photos of bathrooms. But when our clients ask about how to make their bathroom look larger, we do have solutions.

Wasted Money? 09/29/2010

In these hot summer months, most of us have gotten used to running the air conditioner more frequently and paying higher energy bills.  This is especially true if you live in a home that is at least a few years old.  Air duct defects, windows, ceiling and wall penetrations are the main causes of air leaks in the home resulting in higher energy use.  Until these air leaks are reduced, wasted money is spent day after day especially in the summer and cold winter months

Mid Century Modern Bathroom 08/08/2010

Mid century modern bathrooms are the most fun to remodel. Your choices in materials can range from simple to extreme. This shower was done as a wet room. The shower is totally open to the rest of the bath requiring no door because the whole room is water proof.

Both the walls and floor were finished in glass tile made from recycled glass.

We reused a sink from the original bathroom and added a unique faucet to set it off.
